Charity Tournament Slated For December
The event will be held December 11th where it will begin with a media reception and a charity auction that the proceeds will be donated to a charity. Afterwards a No-Limit Texas Hold'em charity tournament will be held where part of the monies will also be donated.
The money from the auction that is raised will go to the T.J. Martell Foundation.
The seating for the tournament has a cutoff at one hundred and fifty poker players with a $500+$50 buy-in along with re-buys and add-ons.
This tournament with celebrity poker players will have prize pool of $50,000 guaranteed and any monies above the $50,000, including re-buys and add-ons are going to be donated to the T. J. Martell Foundation.
The T.J. Martell Foundation was started in honor of T.J. Martell the son of Tony Martell in order to raise money for research in areas such as cancer, which took T.J. Martell shortly after his nineteenth birthday. Before his death his father had promised to raise money for this research and today with this Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament there is a guaranteed prize for this foundation.
