Durrrr Challenge Starting Today

Today in London the Durrrr Challenge will kick off and begin filming. The durrrr Million Dollar Challenge will take place at the Les Ambassadeurs club in Mayfair. Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan becomes the first player to have a televised poker tournament named after him.

The tournament will kick off with durrrr facing Sammy George today in a $500,000 buy-in heads up cash game. Durrrr will also face Ilari Sahamies and Marcelo Marigliano. When durrrr faces Sammy and Marcelo the game will be No Limit Hold’em but against Sahamies the game will be Pot Limit Omaha.

Eddie Hearn the managing director of Matchroom Poker, who will be covering the event, commented: “The stage is set for Tom to make history in London here this week. The opponents are ready.
