Dusk Till Dawn Adds Event to Monthly Lineup

Dusk Till Dawn recently held a special tournament weekend called 20Twenty Weekend this past weekend. The event was such a success that DTD decided to add the event as a monthly fixture and it will continue throughout 2010.

20Twenty Weekend was an event in which two mirror £100 freeze outs which has £20,000 guarantees. Both events sold out on each day. Day one had 283 players and day two saw 280 players competing. Because of the great turnout, Simon Trumper has announced that the event is here to stay.

The event will not be a monthly fixture on the calendar throughout 2010. The next event will take place on the 21st and the 22nd of November. The poker club has announced that players should buy-in to the events well in advance if they want to get a seat.

Simon Trumper confirmed the event would be a staple now on several UK forums. He stated: "Players had travelled from a radius of 100 miles proving the demand for affordable deepstack poker was higher than we thought and with an average first prize equivalent to 88 x the buy in it looks like the 20twenty will continue to sell out."
