Dusk Till Dawn Deepstack Weekend Sees Good Turnout
The Dusk Till Dawn Deepstack Weekend took place just a few days ago and saw record turnouts. The £300 and £150 ranking events saw record turnouts with 385 players competing. This number broke the previous record of 360 players back in February.
The 385 players competing created a prize pool of £115,500 and many think the new start time of 2pm gave more players the option of coming to Dusk Till Dawn to compete. The £150 side event at the club saw 190 players to create a prize pool of £28,500.
The lucky winner of the record breaking event was Fraser Bellamy who earned £28,000 for his efforts. Bellamy beat Richard Morton in heads up play after a chop deal was agreed upon. An interesting side note is that Morton came in second place at the event two months ago, so it seems he gets real close only to come up short handed.
