EPT Returns to France This Week
The European Poker Tour is returning to France this week as the EPT Deauville mini-series is about to take place at the Casino Barriere de Deauville. The event will begin on January 20th and continue until the 24th. It has been two years since the EPT has stopped in France for a tournament.
Several poker pros will be in attendance, competing in the tournament including many from Team PokerStars. Vanessa Rousso, Vicky Coren, Isabelle Mercier, Katja Thater, ElkY, Noah Boeken, Luca Pagano, Alex Kravcheno, Dario Minieri and Chad Brown will be participating as well as the last EPT Deauville champ, Brandon Schaefer.
Poker pros participating in the event have been told that they may not wear any sponsorship logo clothing or accessories as it is not allowed by the French legislation.
The event is capped at 700 players and the buy-in for the No Limit Hold’em event is 5,000Euros plus 300 for registration. The prize pool created should be more than 3.3 million Euros.
