European Championship of Online Poker Event #3 Results

        Nine players made it to the final table of the ECOOP Event #3 that took place this week. The event was a No Limit Hold'em freezeout tournament and had a buy-in of $250 plus $18. The tournament had an expected $350,000 guarantee but more players registered than estimated so the prize pool went up to $372,750.
        The first player to be eliminated was momoski74 with A-8. Antroff was the competition and held pocket 10s and won the hand. The next hand would knock out the second player VickMakey who had pocket Kings but was up against Addict1968 who had pocket Aces. Then a little later faucon666 was out when he had K-Q but was eliminated by antroff who had A-8. The seemingly good hands for the players just were not holding up.
        The seventh place finish went to Dnors47 who went all in with A-Q and was called by bigpat60 who had A-K. The board came and gave Dnors47 hope for a straight but the river was no help and he was through. It took a while before the sixth place person was eliminated. Player foggen went all in with pocket 9s but was beaten when antroff paired his Ace on the river.
        The next few players eliminated were Chelselan in 5th, pinozaurus in 4th and bigpat60 in 3rd. Heads up play began between antroff and Addict1968. It would only last 15 minutes until antroff would go all in with K-2. Addict1968 had J-7 and called. The board came 9-4-5-3-6 giving antroff a straight but Addict1968 had a straight too and his was higher so he won the tournament and the bracelet.
