FTOPS XI Event #17 Results

Event #17 of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XI has ended and several online poker pros showed up to compete. One online pro took the first place prize and that was UFman2. Just over one thousand players entered the six max rebuy tournament which created a larger prize pool guarantee than first estimated $1 million.

Twenty seven Full Tilt pros entered the tournament and plenty of rebuys were purchased. 2,100 rebuys and 737 add-ons helped create the extra large prize pool that UFman2 won a good chunk of. When final table play began it looked as though ‘imabigkidnow’ would take the win as he was the chip leader for the majority of game play.

But ‘imabigkidnow’ would go out in third leaving UFman2 and jordankickz to compete in heads up play. When the competition began between the two were going back and forth with the chip lead. Around the twelfth hour of competition the pair decided to make a coin flip.

The last hand had both players all in the pot and jordankickz had A-Q against UFman2’s pocket jacks. The jacks would hold out and UFman2 would take the win and the first place prize of $245,696.40.
