FTOPS XIII To Host Ante Up For Africa Event

This edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series will see a special charity poker tournament take place. the tournament will be an Ante Up For Africa event and will be held on August 15th to raise money for the situation in the Darfur region of Africa.

The tournament will begin at 3pm and will be hosted by Don Cheadle. Don is known for his acting abilities as well as a poker player. Don helped create the Ante Up For Africa organization with the help of poker pro Annie Duke. The tournament will have a buy-in of $100 plus 20 and the twenty dollar fee will be going to the charity.

It is a great idea for Full Tilt to host this charity tournament as many of the Ante Up For Africa events are live and have limited space or many people just cannot afford to come. Hosting the event online gives many people the opportunity to support the worthwhile cause.

This charity tournament will have a $100,000 guaranteed prize pool with the winner earning at least $22,500. There will be other poker pros competing in the online charity event and possibly a few celebrities as well so online players are sure to run into someone interesting while competing in the charity tournament.
