Full Tilt $750K Guaranteed Tournament Results
This week’s $750,000 Guaranteed Tournament at Full Tilt Poker had a buy-in of $216 and lasted for just over nine hours. Sistabossen was able to outlast the playing field and take home just over $132,000.
When final table play began, nine players were ready to begin. IN just under an hour six players were already eliminated. Three were left to battle for the top position. Those three were HojoMofo, KenRetaard and sistabossen.
It took about fifteen minutes before HojoMofo would be knocked out in third place. HojoMofo had pocket 8s and was all in when sistabossen called with Q-K. Sistabossen drew a queen and took the hand and sent HojoMofo home.
Heads up play then began between sistabossen and KenRetaard. Both were pretty even in chips, with KenRetaard with a slight lead. Both talked of a split but never agreed upon it. When the final hand went down KenRetaard went all in with A-7 against sistabossen’s pocket 7s. The board fell 7-2-5-K-Q so even though KenRetaard had paired up, sistabossen pulled trip sevens and took the hand and the game.
