Full Tilt Announces Heads Up World Championship
Full Tilt Poker has announced they are going to be hosting a $25,000 Heads Up World Championship of their own. The tournament is set to start at 3pm EST on Saturday with the final two rounds of the tournament happening on Sunday at 4pm EST. This tournament will run players $25,000 dollars each to buy in to the event.
Chris "Jesus" Ferguson will be hosting the event and several of Full Tilt Poker's top players will be participating as well. Some of the top poker talent will be making their presence known at the event, Including; Howard Lederer, Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey and Jennifer Harman.
The Heads Up World Championship only has room for 64 players and will feature a series of single elimination heads up poker matches until there is only one player left sitting. Players can buy in directly with $25,000 dollars or with tournament dollars.
If you don't have $25G in your back pocket you can play online qualifiers to get into the tournament for cheaper. Full Tilt Poker has two scheduled heads up qualifiers with a $500 + $5 buyin. The first one is tomorrow at 3pm EST and the next is Friday at 9pm Est.
