Full Tilt Online Poker Series VIII

Full Tilt Poker is going to feature more then $10 million dollars in guaranteed prize money when the Full Tilt Online Poker Series makes it's eighth appearance. 

The FTOPS VIII is going to start on May 7th and will run til May 18th and it will feature 24 individual tournaments that will end in the $2 million dollar guaranteed Main Event that is going to be hosted by Jennifer Harman on May 18th.

There is going to be a game for everyone to play from Texas Hold'em to HORSE, Razz and Omaha Poker.  There is going to be two day No Limit Hold'em tournament that will have a $2,500 buyin that will happen just before the Main Event starts. 

To keep things interesting there are also going to be a few "mystery" tournaments, this means that the formats will not be revealed ahead of time.

Those lucky players that make the FTOPS final table will get a limited edition jacket, a gold FTOPS jersey, gold jersey avatar on Full Tilt and their entry into the FTOPS Season II Tournament of Champions. 

This tournament is a freeroll for all FTOPS winners and the winner will get a seat in the World Series of Poker Main Event.  The Tournament of Champions will take place on Saturday, May 24th.

Players that want to play in the Poker Series can win their seat to any of the FTOPS events by playing in the Full Tilt Satellite Challenge.  There is also another way to get in as FTOPS is offering a "Bouncebackability" freeroll to every player that bubbles out.  This is the player that gets eliminated right before the money, but it has to be out of a FTOPS event.
