Full Tilt Poker Montreal Open Scheduled for March 29th
The Full Tilt Poker Montreal Open is the largest televised charity poker tournament to take place in Canada. The fourth annual Full Tilt Poker Montreal Open is scheduled to begin on March 29th and will continue until April 1st. The event will be held at the Le Windsor Montreal and will benefit the Miriam Foundation.
The prize pool will be $250,000 or larger depending on how many enter the tournament and ten seats will be awarded to the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event.
Benefits from the event will go toward the Miriam Foundation, which is a foundation that supports rehabilitative, vocational and residential services and programs that create an increased socialization and community integration for people of all ages that live with intellectual disabilities or autism in Montreal.
Players will compete on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday of the completion and then those who qualify will return on Wednesday night to compete in the final round. The top twenty players will then be flown to Las Vegas to participate in the final. It will be there that the large prize pool will be divided and the ten entries to the WSOP Main Event will be awarded.
