Full Tilt Withdraws Moscow Millions Sponsorship
According to a spokesperson for the online poker room, Full Tilt will remain focused on it's 2008 tournament commitments, which resulted in the re-evaluation of their intentions in Moscow. The whelming schedule reportedly includes the World Series of Poker Europe, 2008 Aussie Millions, prior commitments in Britain and sponsorships in Germany.
The spokesman offered this statement on behalf of Full Tilt Poker, "Recognizing the substantial potential of the Moscow Millions and Russia in general, the company has decided to postpone sponsorship to insure complete dedication to the success of the event."
The past two months have seen members of Full Tilt Poker competing for a $15,000 Moscow Millions prize package in weekly satellite tournaments. Organizers of the televised event have stated that the show will go on, despite the unexpected loss of a major sponsor.
