Great British Poker Tour Begins

The Great British Poker Tour has begun with a £300+£30 No-Limit Hold'em Freeze-Out; the tour will be at the Gala Casino Harbourdside in Bristol. Two events will be held prior to the four-day main event.

This poker tournament began today and there was expected to be a prize pool of approximately £42,000 the winner of today's tournament will not only leave with the usual cash prize they will also win a bonus seat for tomorrows £ 1,000 + £ 50.

This £ 1,000 + £ 50 No-Limit Hold'em Freeze-out will be a two day event and the prize pool is estimated at approximately £ 140,000 and this winner of this event will also wind a seat at the main event of this tournament. The Grand main event will begin on Thursday with four separate days of games, with one being £ 2,500+ £ 50 buy-in and it is expected the prize pool can reach as high as 500,000.

In this tournament the last five players to leave the final table will also leave with no only their share of the prize pool but will also receive bonus prizes the first prize given to the last player remaining at the table will be a prize package to the Bellagio Five Diamond World Poker Classic that will be held in Las Vegas.
