Irish Poker Open Qualifiers Begin August 13th

Paddy Poker Poker.com has underwritten a huge Million Euro addition to the already large of the Irish Open Poker Tournament. The prize pool totalling 3 Euro Million will be fought over by poker players during the Irish Open Poker Tournament. Qualifiers for the Euro 4200 buy in that comes with a Euro 300 registration fee will begin playing for one of 1000 available seats August 13th.

Feeder tournaments will be held on PaddyPowerPoker.com with several being held each day, every two weeks a grand final satellite will be held, in which winners will win a seat in the actual Irish Poker Open.

Last year, just over 700 players played in the event, vying for a Euro 2.3 million prize pool! Irish Poker player Marty Smyth took down the Terry Rogers Trophy, finishing ahead of pro's like Carlos Mortensen, and Dan Harrington! Smyth took out Roland De Wolfe heads up, taking home Euro 650 000.
