Isabelle Mercier Does Well in PokerStars Sunday Million

Sundays are great days in the online poker world as the top online poker rooms host large guaranteed poker tournaments every Sunday. Usually the competitors are the usual lot and many manage to finish well each week. This past week a poker pro popped up at PokerStars and managed to make it to third place in the Sunday Million.

Isabelle Mercier outlasted most of the 7,712 field as she finished in third place. Outlasting Mercier was online player’s labbedorval and Zimmy41. It must have been nice to be in three handed play and knock out the poker pro. Zimmy41 and labbedorval then moved on to heads up play once Mercier was ousted.

Labbedorval would go out in second place after calling an all in by Zimmy41 when he was down in chips. The call was a bad one as Zimmy41’s cards held up better and knocked labbedorval out in second place. All was not lost though as labbedorval took home $169,664 for his efforts.

The PokerStars Sunday Million takes place every Sunday and costs just $200 plus $15 to compete. The amount of players this past weekend created a prize pool of $1,542,400 and paid out 1,170 players.
