JBet Battle of the Nations to be featured at APT Macau
The upcoming Asian Poker Tour Macau Festival will be featuring several side events and perhaps the most exciting is set to take place next Wednesday. The JBet Battle of the Nations will see several teams from all over the world competing in Macau.
Teams from Australia, the United States and Korea will be competing in the JBet Battle which is a team event of no-limit hold’em. Each team is made up of three members from the same country. Two teams will face each other at every table. The goal of the event is to eliminate all of the players of opposing teams so only one nation is left and of course they would be the winner.
Teams must pay the buy-in of $6,193 and the first two teams competing will be from Australia. Players on the two Australian teams are: James Potter, Stewart Scott, Dennis Huntley, Andrew Scott, Steve Topakas and Ben Savage.
The American Team will be made of The Poker Pack which includes JC Tran, Quinn Do and Nam Le. Steve Sung, David Rheem and Kwang Soo Lee will be representing the Korea team.
