Jamie Gold to Host Charity Poker Tournament

Poker In the Park is set to begin next month and it was announced recently that WSOP Champion Jamie Gold will be hosting a special charity tournament during the two day poker festival. The charity tournament will take place at The Casino At The Empire on August 13th.

Peter Eastgate will be co-hosting The Jamie Gold Charity Poker Tournament along with Jamie. The tournament is set to begin at seven thirty in the evening in the Shadow Lounge. The tournament will be raising money for the Jamie Gold Foundation with donates funds to numerous charities.

The event will be a fifty player no limit Texas hold’em freeze out tournament with chip stacks starting at 6,000. Ten seats will be set aside for poker pros and celebrities who have personally invited by the two hosts while forty seats can be bought for £500 per seat.

All of the buy-ins will be given to charity and the winner will be earning a seat to the London European Poker Tour main event which will take place in October. Bluff Europe has donated one on one strategy training to the runner up which can be taken at TheMavenVT online.
