Last week over three hundred players competed in the charity poker tournament organized by Jennifer Harmon. The event took place at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno and the participants were able to raise more than $111,000 for the United States National Kidney Foundation.

Several poker pros were on hand to compete in the tournament as well as support the charity. A few who attended the event were: Maria Ho, Andy Bloch, Todd Brunson, Marco Traniello and Howard Lederer.

A ton of poker pros were on hand but it was William Roberts of Reno who emerged the victor in the charity event. Roberts earned a crystal trophy, a watch from Curtis & Co and a $5,000 World Poker Challenge entry.

Roberts commented that he was glad to be a part of the event and that Jennifer did a great job on the tournament. Harmon commented that the turnout was the largest of any charity event she had ever hosted. She thanked the poker community for their generosity.
