Lake Tahoe Has Two More Winners
The prize pool was up to $110,580 for event 3, with $1,000 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em, having 114 players to register for this big event.
First to be knocked out was Dan Stephens who had pocket kings, and moved all-in, then Nguyen called having A-Q. Resulting in quad threes for both of the players, the board came 3-3-4-3-3, in the end Nguyen having the top kicker, holding the ace.
Then to be taken out by Nguyen, was Joshua Roberts, known as being a professional poker player, from California. Nguyen took Roberts weak hand out, with only having an ace-high.
Bob Bone was next, being forced to play a naked ace and finding himself short-stacked. Being Bone's first tournament to ever play in, he didn't do bad at all, taking home $4,313 for his strategizing.
After working his way down the line of the rest of the players, Nguyen came out on top, being top winner of the event.
