Lecture Schedule Announced for Poker In The Park

Poker In the Park is set to begin soon in August and many poker pros will be on hand to give lectures for those attending the event. the official schedule has been announced for the festival so attendees can know who will be giving lectures.

The first day of Poker In the Park will be on August 13th and Jamie Gold and peter Eastgate will kick off the lectures. Both will deliver thirty minute lectures about playing in mid-sized tournaments. The lectures will begin at 5:15 pm on Thursday and will be followed by fifteen minute question and answer period. Annette Obrestad will then appear at 6:45 pm, Nik Persaud at 7:30PM and Neil Channing at 8:15 pm.

On Friday the lectures will begin at 12:30 pm with Gold speaking again. He will be followed by Alex Rousso, Nik Wealthall and Liv Boeree who will give lectures. Tony Cascarino an ex-soccer player and Michael Greco a former actor will then speak on how they have made the move to the game of poker.

At 5:45pm Paul Jackson, John Tabatabai, Marc Goodwin and Ian Frazer will all talk about the game and then Jamie Gold will close out the lectures at 8:45pm. “The line-up we have at Poker In The Park is the kind you’d expect to see at one of the world’s major tournaments,” said Michael Caselli, Editor-In-Chief for Bluff Europe magazine.
