Matt Graham Wins Event #40 of WSOP

One of the newest members of the Star Players team at UltimateBet has won a WSOP bracelet. Matt Graham recently won event #40, a pot limit Omaha tournament. Graham was signed to the UltimateBet team in March and now has won almost $700,000 for first place prize.

A statement from UltimateBet read: “Members of the Star Players team continue to prove that online poker players can achieve equal success in the world’s biggest land-based events.”

With this win Graham has won almost $2.5 million during his short career and he has won over $1 million from the World Series of Poker. Graham won his first WSOP bracelet last year during the limit hold’em shootout event. He also won the 2008 Five Diamond World Poker classic and the 2008 World Poker Challenge.

Graham is going to be participating in the Main Event of the World Series of Poker on the 3rd of July and it will be interesting to see how well he fares. A good deal of young players has played quite well during this year’s WSOP so it should be tough competition for those who participate.
