Matt Keikoan Wins WSOP Circuit Tahoe Main Event
The World Series of Poker circuit recently stopped at Harvey’s Lake Tahoe to host the $5,000 no limit hold’em championship. The event attracted sixty four players which created a prize pool of $299,400. The tournament lasted two days and it was Matt Keikoan who earned the first place win.
It took some time before final table play would see heads up play but once it started it would be Keikoan and Justin Hallstrom who would face off. Heads up play would begin slowly trading small pots before the action would get going. On the final hand Hallstrom went all in with A-5 both clubs. Keikoan would call with A-K both diamonds. The board was no help for Hallstrom and he would be out in second place leaving Keikoan with the win.
