Mid South Poker Classic Main Evnet Winner
The Mid South Poker Classic that was held at the Cherokee Casino Resort finished up this week with Harold Hailey being the first place winner in the two day main event. This was their first Mid South Poker Classic and it featured 20 events that were set over 12 days with buy ins ranging from $100 dollars to $1,000 dollars.
There were over 3,000 players overall and the tournament series featured more then $700,000 dollars at the prize pools. The Main Event was a $1,080 dollar buy in No Limit Hold'em event that saw 150 players and created a $145,500 dollar prize pool. Among the players was Scotty Nguyen who had been in town for the entire Mid South Poker Classic.
The final table at the Main Event played out with Harold Hailey in first with $48,015 dollars and Josef Tittjung finished in second place with $26,481 dollars.
Third place went to Jeffrey Bryan with $14,550 dollars, followed by Curtis Conners in fourth place with a $11,640 dollars. Finishing in fifth place was Scotty Nguyen with a $8,730 dollar payout and Patrick Gallant finished in sixth place with $7,275 dollars.
Zackry Hendrix went out in seventh place and won $3,820 dollars followed by Larry Ogilbee in eighth place with a $4,365 dollar win and finally the first person to leave the final table was Michael Davis in ninth place with a $2,910 dollar win.
