Mini SOP at Bodog Poker is Heating Up
While we watch the action as the World Series of Poker continues on in Las Vegas we don't want to forget about Bodog Poker's online version. Bodog has been running their Mini Series of Poker and it mirrors the WSOP's Hold'em tournament schedule at 1 percent of the buy in that is charged at the World Series of Poker.
The Mini SOP has ran two events so far and they have another 23 events left to play in. At the first event, a $100 + $9 Pot Limit Hold'em event that was played on Thursday "dudix" came out the winner after he bested the 85 player field to win $2,550 dollars. The second event was a $15 + $1.50 No Limit Hold'em tournament that saw a much larger player field.
There were over 260 players registered at this event and "ryder_back" outlasted them all to get a $1,072.50 dollar payday. Players are not only winning cash but points at these events and the Mini SOP Leader Board is updated often and these players could win a seat into the World Series of Poker Main Event as well as cash.
The next event in the Mini SOP is event no.3 which is a $15 + $1.50 Pot Limit Hold'em event and the action will start on June 2nd at 9pm Est.
