Mohegan Sun Announces Winter Chill Poker Tournament

The Mohegan Sun has announced they will be holding a poker tournament this February. This will be the second major tournament for the casino since opening the poker room last august. The tournament is called the Winter Chill Poker Tournament and will take place February 7th through the 15th.

The nine day event will end with a three day Main Event which will begin on the 13th. The tournament will begin with a Shoot Out followed by the first Mohegan Sun Ladies Only event. The name of the game for this tournament is No Limit Hold’em.

Qualifiers for the Winter Chill Poker Tournament began yesterday and will continue throughout January. Players can also enter by posting the buy-in for the event of their choice. More information can be found on the Mohegan Sun website.

The Director of Poker for the Mohegan Sun, Bruce Dixon, commented: "We are extremely excited to be hosting our second major poker tournament since opening the new room back in August. Our first tournament in October was a huge success, with a larger turnout than we had anticipated, so we are hopeful that our Winter Chill Tournament will be even bigger and better."
