More Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV Results
With more than a week left in the preliminary action that remains in the Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge IV, there is plenty of action still to be found. With events on the way such as the $1,000 buy-in event for next Wednesday as well as the $500 Pot-Limit Omaha tournament offering re-buys on next Thursday.
On Monday, the $200 No-Limit Hold'em event brought 235 players, which built a prize pool totaling $39,500, divided among the top 27 players. Todd Laviolet from Fort Worth, Texas landed the $12,410 first place check along with the cruise that was being offered, that so many were wanting to win. This just being one win, of many that followed.
Each of the many events remaining will lead up to the beginning of the $5,000 Championship event that will begin on November 18. Many players are expected to attend, including Scotty Nguyen, "Kido" Pham - defending champion, and many other top professionals.
