Nick Ceci Wins 2008 Bayou Poker Challenge
The winner of the 2008 Bayou Poker Challenge World Series of Poker Circuit event was amatuer poker player Nick Ceci. This was the final stop for the WSOP circuit as the season wrapped up on May 21st at Harrahs New Orleans where Ceci won the $382.928 dollar first prize.
Nick Ceci had to go up against a lot of stiff competition at the event to win the title, including Gavin Smith, Josh Arieh, Steve Dannermann, Bill Edler, T.J. Cloutier, Bill Edler, Allen Kessler and Jonathon "FieryJustice" Little
When Ceci made final table he was halfway down the leaderboard with four players behind him and four ahead. The chip lead belonged to Tim Miles who went heads up against Ceci but Miles finished the tournament in second place
