Oklahoma State Championship of Poker Underway
Yesterday marked the kickoff of the Oklahoma State Championship of Poker. The tournament series will continue until the sixteenth and twenty two events will be held. The championship event will have a $3,000 buy-in and will take place on the fifteenth and end on the sixteenth.
The events in the series will include: heads-up no-limit hold’em, seven-card stud, seven-card stud eight-or-better, six-handed hold’em, triple draw, H.O.R.S.E., no-limit, limit, and pot-limit hold’em, pot-limit Omaha, and Omaha eight-or-better.
Two mega satellites will be held in conjunction with the main event. The first one begins on the 7th and the final satellite will take place on the 14th. The buy in is $340 for the satellites. Below is a list of the schedule for the Championship.
Thursday, Feb. 5: Event No. 1 — $100 Jack and Jill no-limit
Friday, Feb. 6: Event No. 2 — $300 pot-limit Omaha state championship
Friday, Feb. 6: Event No. 3 — $100 no-limit hold’em
Saturday, Feb. 7: Event No. 4 — $300 no-limit hold’em state championship
Saturday, Feb. 7: $300 Mega Satellite
Sunday, Feb. 8: Event No. 5 — $300 Omaha eight-or-better state championship
Sunday, Feb. 8: Event No. 6 — $300 heads-up no-limit hold’em state championship
Sunday, Feb. 8: Event No. 7 — $100 no-limit hold’em
Monday, Feb. 9: Event No. 8 — $300 seniors no-limit hold’em state championship
Monday, Feb. 9: Event No. 9 — $100 no-limit hold’em
Tuesday, Feb. 10: Event No. 10 — $300 six-handed hold’em state championship
Tuesday, Feb. 10: Event No. 11 — $300 seven-card stud/seven-card stud eight-or-better state championship
