Online Player Droeftoeter Wins Bodog Tournament

Bodog Poker hosts a regular Sunday tournament where players compete for their share of the $100,000 guaranteed prize pool. The weekly tournament is a big hit at the online poker room and this past weekend it was online player Droeftoeter who came away with the first place prize.

The event had four hundred and fourteen players competing and the buy-in for the event is always $109. Players can buy directly into the tournament or they can earn seats via qualifiers throughout the week. This week the prize pool was just $100,000 but many times, so many players register that the prize pool is increased by tens of thousands of dollars.

Once heads up play began Droeftoeter would have to defeat online player trentduvall before he could claim the first place prize of $25,000. Both would go all in on at one point and the cards would be in Droeftoeter’s corner as well as the chip lead so he would take the win and trentduvall would have to settle for second place.
