Online Poker Player Wins Full Tilt $500,000 Guaranteed
Full Tilt Poker saw incredible action this past Sunday with 3,378 entries to the weekly $500,000 Guaranteed Tournament. Jordan 'iMsoLucky0' Morgan, who just raked in four chases at the World Series of Poker this year, made his triumphant return to Internet poker with a bang, winning the first place prize of more than $120,000.
With so many entrants paying the $200+$16 buy-in, the prize pool became a massive $675,600. The top 459 finishers would cash in. Seven and a half hours into the tournament, the final table was seated.
Round after round of predominately aggressive action saw 7 players knocked out of the tournament, leaving heads-up action between 'iMsoLucky0' Morgan and 'carabello'.
Eventually, Morgan realized a 6 to 1 chip lead over carabello before going into the final hand, where 'carabello' held A-Q against Morgan's pocket 10's. The Flop revealed 7-Q-10, lending carabello a pair to Morgan's set. The turn revealed an A, giving carabello hope, but in the end, an 8 River wasn't enough.
Morgan's veteran poker skills awarded him the first place prize of $120,966.18. The second place prize of $73,640.40 went to carabello.
