Online Poker: Saga Of Josh 'JJProdigy' Field Continues
Josh Field, better known in the online poker community as 'JJProdigy', having just turned 18, entered his first, major, live poker event - the Aussie Millions. JJProdigy is well known in the online poker community as of late for having initiated a multi-accounting scheme at online poker room, PokerStars, for which he was permanently banned from the site and any of it's sponsored, land-based event.
The young poker player from California had won himself a seat in the highly anticipated PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. Unfortunately for Josh, that was before his multi-accounting and underage poker playing - Josh has been participating in online poker since he was 16 - was uncovered by the popular online poker room.
With his bags packed for the Caribbean, Josh quickly changed his plans and flew to the land down under to participate in the Aussie Millions poker championship at the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia.
Upon arrival, Amanda Leatherman of PokerNews immediately pulled young Field aside for an interview where he spoke of his past multi-accounting activities and reaction to the lifetime ban handed down by PokerStars. Field also relayed his first impressions of live poker tournament play.
In the Aussie Millions event #5, a $1,000 NL Hold'em with re-buys, Field found himself hitting the rail just before finishing inside the prize pool bubble.
