Party Poker Inaugural Women's World Open

Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth and Liz Lieu will be some of the 36 women poker players playing for $108,000 in the Party Poker $3,000 Women's World open poker tournament. This televised event hosted in London, starts August 7th and will continue till August 10th.

If these three woman poker players are any indication, this event will be hard fought and feature some great play. Tilly is the 2005 WSOP Ladies event winner and WPT Ladies Night Out winner that same year. Lieu can boast many international as well as WSOP cashes to her long list of credentials and Shannon Elizabeth recently cashed in a WSOP event as well as 3rd in the 2007 NBC Heads Up Championship. She will be playing as well as commenting during the event.
The competition will be stiff though with Pippa Flanders, Xuen Pham, Jackie Meecham and a host of other great U.S. and European players expected to participate. Party Poker Bonus Code.
