PartyPoker World Poker Open IV

Mike Sexton "the Ambassador of Poker" will be the official headliner for the Party Poker World Open IV that will start on April 25th and run til the 2nd of May.

Although Sexton is going to be the headliner, the PartyBets.com 16/1 favorite for the event is the recent winner of the Irish Open, Neil Channing.  Mike Sexton is 28/1 for the win at the World Poker Open IV.

A PartyBets.com spokesman said: "There was no choice but to make Neil Channing favorite to win considering his form but he does have a strong heat featuring his pal Mick McCool. 16/1 may be far too short a price to back for the man they used to call 'Bad Beat'".

This event will have a $8,000 buyin and there are 72 players in the running for the first place prize of $250,000 dollars.  Each winner of the 12 heats will get to move on the semi final stage.  There will also be "last chance" turbo heats for the runners up from the 12 heats that will compete for the remaining two seats.
