Phil Hellmuth to Compete in the European Open IV
February 1st through the 8th is the set dates for the European Open IV. The PartyPoker event will be commentated by Jesse May who will be joined by Phil Hellmuth. Phil has stated he is looking forward to playing and lending his opinion at the European Open.
Several successful professional poker players are expected to attend the event. Along with Hellmuth, there will be Juah Helppi, the PartyPoker Premier League title holder, Michale McCool, Roland de Wolfe, Andy Black, Marty Smith, Roy Brindley, Ian Frazer, Ian Cox, Surinder Sunar, Robin Keston and U.K. Open Champion Andre Feldman. Last year's winner Liam Flood will also be playing to defend his title.

"The inclusion of Phil Hellmuth will certainly spice things up, but we have a host of U.K. talent standing in his way, and you can be sure that 'The Gentleman' Liam Flood won't give up his crown without a fight."
The buy-in for the tournament is up to $7,000, $2,000 more than last year. The prize pool will be $504,000 and players will be competing in heats to work their way to the top. Twelve heats will be played and the winner from each heat will move to the semi-finals. A special battle will take place between the runners-up of the heats to win two open spots at the semi-final.
