Poker Pros Lining Up to Compete in the 2009 LAPC
Poker players are jumping at the chance to compete in this year’s World Poker Tour L.A. Poker Classic and several top poker pros have been scheduled to play in the tournament. Along with the many newcomers, the tournament is going to be a large event.
Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Allen Cunningham, Todd Brunson, Howard Lederer, Antonio Esfandiari, Jennifer Harman, Chris Ferguson and Scotty Nguyen are just a few on the long list of names set to attend.
The L.A. Poker Classic begins on January 22nd and continues until March 2nd with several old events returning a few new ones that have been added to the list.
Matt Savage the L.A. Poker Classic tournament director commented: "The L.A. Poker Classic is a proving ground for those who are ready for the spotlight. All you have to do is look at past winners Antonio 'The Magician' Esfandiari and Michael 'The Grinder' Mizrachi. For every Phil Ivey that wins the LAPC, there's another up-and-comer who starts his legacy here."
