PokerStars has just announced the next stop on the Latin American Poker Tour Season Two. Players will be heading to Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico on December 5th till the 7th to try and win the top title. This event will have a buy-in of $2,700 and will be held at the Marival Resort & Suites.
Players can win a seat to the Nuevo Vallarta event on PokerStars website for as little as $2.20. Winning a seat could mean playing beside a member of Team PokerStars. Such players include: Andre Akkari, Alexandre Gomes, Humberto Brenes or Greg Raymer.
Glenn Cademartori, the President of the LAPT, commented on the tour: "PokerStars LAPT Season One was an overwhelming success, demonstrating the enormous growth and expansion of poker across Latin America and the appeal of these venues for international players. Moving the tour into Latin America's tourism high season will make it easier and even more enjoyable for players to travel to these exotic destinations for exciting, live high-stakes championship poker. Players have a lot to look forward to in Season Two as we are doubling the size of the tour. It will now run from November to April visiting six countries in six months.”
The Latin Poker Tour is currently stopped in Costa Rica and will move on to Nuevo Vallarta by the December date. Other countries such as Mexico, Chile and Argentina are new to the LAPT tour.
