PokerStars Macau Poker Cup
PokerStars is going to be making use of thier live poker room in the Grand Waldo Casino in Macau by hosting another Macau Poker Cup this weekend. The Macau Poker Cup is going to be played over three days starting today with a charity tournament that will benefit the Caritas de Macau.
The Caritas de Macau provides services to individuals, families and communities to help create a more human condition economically, spiritually and morally. The organization is part of the Macau Catholic Church and they also try to encourage people to be more responsible for their lives and activities.
They want the people to enable themselves so they can all build a community that is based on justice, truth, fraternity, peace and freedom.
The charity event will start at 8pm and has a $500 HKD buyin plus a $1,500 HKD charitable donation to be able to play. The first and second place finishers will win the $25,000 HKD buyin for the APT Macau Main Event in September.
Third through fifth will get entry into the $10,000 Red Dragon tournament, sixth through tenth place gets a $1,000 Deep Stack tournament entry and last but not least 11th through 35th place will get an entry into the $600 Phase 1 tournament. There is also a cash pool that will be distributed from sixth to 20th place as well.
