PokerStars.com European Poker Tour London Day One (B)
Though the 2006 EPT saw a total of six more players, the prize pool for the 2007 EPT came to £700,000 more. This years event will pay the top 36 us poker players with the top 5 getting:

Day to will field 142 players, 90 of which come from day one A.
With the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Liz Lieu, Andy Black, Roland De Wolfe, Joe Beevers, Juha Helppi and many more notable names of professional poker playing in day one B it was noticeably more busy and the room was full well into the night as compared to earlier that day.
It was Juha Helppi who got the distinction of being the first player eliminated when his pocket aces got knocked out by a pair of queens. Gavin Griffin, Max Pescatori, Chris Bjorin and Hevad Kahn also joined the now long list of players who are now on the rail watching the action.
Not all the big names had a bad start. Daniel Negreanu straight flush doubled him up in the early going and Tony Cascarino, a former Premiership football star, pocket aces late kept in in the running with £40,000 in chips.
