The Sky Poker Tour recently stopped at Aspers Casino in Newcastle for the stop on the second leg of the second season. The event took place this past weekend and 149 players registered to compete in the event.

The competition was fierce but eventually it was David ‘Daveyzz’ Marley of Bridlington who would make it to heads up play against David Evans. Both had outlasted the field to make it to heads up play and they would have to face off before a winner could be named.

Eventually David Marley would take the chip lead and make a move that would end the competition. Evans would call but the cards would not be in his favor and Marley would take the win. The tour will take a slight break until March 6th when the tour comes to the Luton at the G Casino.

Final Results:

1st David Marley £4,000

2nd David Evans £2,600

3rd Richard Robinson £1,800

4th John Pickering £1,350

5th Gary Graham £1,050

6th Carl Teasdale £900

7th Helen Rideout £750

8th Mick Jennings £600

9th Andrew Burden £450
