Poker pro Steve Sung won his first ever World Series of Poker bracelet when he competed in event #4 of this year’s WSOP. The event was a $1,000 No Limit Hold’em Stimulus Special tournament which saw just over six thousand competitors playing for the top prize.

Sung outlasted the large field of competitors to take his first bracelet, which was a feat in itself as it was the biggest turnout for a non-WSOP Main Event tournament in the history of poker. The first place prize was $771,106 and was well worth the effort.

Sung commented: “I was really bummed out after busting out of the $40K.” (WSOP No Limit Holdem tournament)”I told myself I have to start playing better. I was able to bounce back.”

Sung has did well in his short poker career as he is only twenty four years old. His total career earnings total over $2.7 million. Sung had to defeat several poker pros before he could earn the first place win at event #4.
