Titan Poker's ECOOP III Will Begin in November
The European Championship of Online Poker III (ECOOP) is set to begin November 24th and will continue until December 7th of 2008. This tournament was created by Titan Poker and will be the third one ever to take place. Titan Poker says that this year's event will be bigger and better than ever.
The first ECOOP took place in December 2007 when players competed for nearly $2.5 million dollars in prizes. The second ECOOP took place in May 2008 with an even bigger prize pool of $3.6 million dollars to be shared. Now during this year's European Championship of Online Poker, players will be competing for their share of the $4,150,000 dollar prize pool at Titan Poker.
In early ECOOP’s the action only lasted for ten days. This year, Titan Poker has decided to make everything bigger from the prize pools to extending the championship. The 2008 ECOOP is going to last for 14 days to give players more time to participate in more events and it will also give them time to work their way to the top and possibly take home a large prize.
A representative for Titan Poker stated: “We extended the tournament period to fourteen days to allow more time for our talented Titan poker players to showcase their skill and play for the sensational reward in offer.”
