Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II Begins Today

The 2009 Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza II begins today in Las Vegas at the Venetian. Twenty four events will take place during the tournament series with games of no limit hold’em, pot limit Omaha, Omaha eight or better and H.O.R.S.E.

Each event will begin at Noon and the series will continue until April 24th. A special charity event will take place on the 17th hosted by Jennifer Harmon. The buy-in for the charity event will be $330 and rebuys will be available.

The no limit hold’em championship will begin on April 23rd with a buy-in of $2,500. A super satellite was held yesterday for players to win seats to the no limit hold’em championship and another super satellite will be held on April 22nd. Players will be given 15,000 in chips to begin the tournament and blind levels will last ninety minutes.
