Venice Stop Added to World Poker Tour
The World Poker Tour will be taking their tournaments to Italy for the first time this May when they stop in Venice. The WPT Venice event will be powered by bwin and the tournament will run May 6th through the 10th.
The tournament will take place at the Casino de Venezia which is located on the east bank of the Grand Canal. To play in the Main Event, players will need to pay the 4,000 Euros plus 400 Euros for the buy-in. Cash games as well as side events will take place during the WPT Venice event, so there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
The winner of the Main Event will receive a $25,000 seat to the April 2010 World Poker Tour Championship as well as a WPT Venice bracelet. The event will not be televised by it will be filmed. Bwin will broadcast the final table and crowning of the champion via a Web-TV broadcast.
