WPT Foxwoods Poker Classic Winner Erik Seidel

Only Six players got to return to play at the televised final table at the World Poker Tour Foxwoods Poker Classic.  At the start of the day  Erik Seidel was the chip leader and that is how he finished the tournament.

Erik Seidel has won eight World Series of Poker bracelets but before yesterday he had never won a World Poker Tour Event.  But that was all been changed on Wednesday after playing for 11 hours at the final table when Seidel eliminated Robert Richardson to win the Foxwoods Poker Classic and the first place prize money of $992,890 dollars.

Robert Richardson was a final table rookie but he did pretty good for himself with his second place finish for $558,792 dollars.  He also made it along way to become the runner up as he started out the day with the second smallest chip stack.  He stayed in the tournament by doubling up his chip stack to get over the one million mark.

The first player to get eliminated from the final table was Ted Forrest who started out the day second in chips but ended up putting out his money in with the worst of it on two occasions and ended up with a prize of $103,360 dollars.
