WPT Marrakech High Rollers Event won by Ross Boatman
The World Poker Tour Marrakech High Rollers event ended yesterday and it was a very successful tournament. Forty five players turned out to compete in the €9000 main event and it was Ross Boatman who earned the first place win.
Ross was joined in the competition by his brother Barny which made the contest very interesting. Barny was unable to make it to heads up play as he exited the tournament in fourth place. Ross was up against Dominik Nitsche in heads up play and Ross managed to knock out Dominik for the win.
Ross has been playing very well as of late. Along with this win, Ross finished 3rd in the London Poker Circuit as well as a 4th place finish in PLO events at the World Series of Poker and the World Series of Poker Europe.
