WSOPE Champion is Now Queen of Poker
Annette_15 has been playing poker online for little more than a year now. She is a skilled and talented player, with the most engaging silence observable. One may have been concerned for her transition from an online medium to a world class live event. She took it in stride, and competed with quite elegance against the World Series of Poker champions who came to beat her. For her diligence, and quiet attention to the game, she is bringing home the largest European Poker Pot of 1 million pounds.
After pushing out Annie Duke, Annette was the only woman left in the tournament, and the only one to make it to the final table. Now, Annette joins the short list of WSOP Open Event Bracelet Winners. Katja Thater took her place next to Annie Duke earlier this year, and now Annette 'Annette_15' Obrestad joins the ranks of professional poker women, in history and standing at the World Series of Poker, with her own distinction. She won the first WSOP Europe bracelet, the only main event to date awarded outside of the USA.
