Frankie O'Dell wins the Omaha Eight-or-Better event.
O'Dell took home a the top prize in the $2000 buy in Omaha eights, including a highly coveted World Series of Poker bracelet. Frankie won his first WSOP bracelet during the 2003 WSOP in the $1,500 buy in Omaha eight or better event.
This most recent World Series of Poker event however puts O'Dell at more than $1.5 dollars in lifetime poker earnings and marks his place in a world of elite professional poker players.
Joining Frankie at the final table were; Marcel Luske (famous for his upside down sunglasses and sing song personality as well as his phenomenal poker play), Ming Lee, Martin "Dick" Corpuz, Jess Robinson, and Thang Luu, Marvin Ryan, Mitch Maples and Stuart "thedonator" Paterson.
The final Results:
Frankie O'Dell took 1st, winning $240,057 followed by Thang Luu who finished second for $147,726. The third place prize of $97,188 went to Martin Corpuz, 4th place and $64,630 went to Marcel Luske. Marvin Ryan took $47,136 and 5th place.
