2008 WSOP Main Event Final Table Decided
From 6,844 players down to nine we have the 2008 World Series of Poker Main Event final table. The final table consists of five American Players, two Canadian players and one Dane and Russian player. All will be competing for the $9.1 million dollar top prize at the WSOP Main Event.
The final table was made at 3:30am after the field was narrowed down to the final nine players now they will advance to the November 11th finals to see who will become the winner of this year's Main Event.
The final nine players and their chip counts are below.

Darus Suharto - $12,520,000

Kelly Kim $2,620,000
"I'm going to go back to my desk and try to learn some more poker," said Suharto. "There are a lot of great players here. I'm a nobody."
"It's going to be tomorrow or the next day before this even comes close to sinking in," said Dennis Phillipps. "This is my hobby, I love the game, I love to play it, I really don't want to become a professional or I'll take the enjoyment out of it."
