2008 WSOP and a Years Supply of Beer

The World Series of Poker Bubble Playoff was played in Las Vegas, Nevada today, making it the second year running for the fairly new tradition. The tournament is full of bad beat stories, and players that 'almost' made it to the money in the World Series of Poker this year. The winner of the World Series of Poker "Bubble Playoff" will an opportunity to return to Las Vegas next year, and a seat in the 2008 World Series of Poker.

The event is sponsored by World Series supporter, Milwaukee's Best Light and is open only to the nine Main Event players that finished, just before players made the money, or the bubble busters.

The guy that pops a poker tournament bubble, is an automatic hero to those still left in the game, this player traditionally goes home empty handed, while assuring that every other player in the game takes home a prize. However, the "Bubble Playoff" offers one last chance, a chance to say you came and won, and a chance to come back and play again next year, in the 2008 World Series of Poker (WSOP).

This years Bubble Playoff champion attorney at law, Lee Dryer, who not only wins a seat in next years WSOP, but a years supply of beer to entertain himself with until it is time to play again next year.
